Custom Music Pricing

All prices are for the unique length (repeated sections don’t count) of final music delivered. (In reality, much more than the final amount will be written for almost any project.) The rates also cover the cost of an in house audio engineer mixing and mastering each piece (the same one who did all the portfolio material), as well as the material costs, and the cost of all in-house composers, instrumentalists, and programmers.

Also, the following reflects our risk free policy, which allows you to walk away from the composition if you don’t like it without spending any money whatsoever. (For more details on this, see our ordering process page.)

Non-Exclusive Rights Custom Music:

8 Bit Chiptune/FM Chiptune/Electronic: $150/min
Full Rock Band/Symphonic/Organic: $275/min

Exclusive Custom Music:

8 Bit Chiptune/FM Chiptune/Electronic: $225/min
Full Rock Band/Symphonic/Organic: $400/min

Non-Exclusive means that we retain the right to put your music on one of our albums, or with your permission, sell the soundtrack for the project. You can use the files we give you in as many projects as you’d like, but can’t build other pieces based off of the music we give you (ex. an updated theme for the sequel.)

Exclusive means that once we deliver the music, we only retain the right to say that we did it. We can’t put audio samples up on our site, we can’t release it, we can’t sell it. You can put it up on iTunes or Steam and collect all the money you want from selling it.

Contact us if you’d like to figure out pricing for adaptive music or procedural music solutions. Also, if you need a 5 minute evolving drone or something, we won’t be charging you for 5 min of music- let us know what you need.
